About

Rabi Jay has spent twenty years arriving early to each wave of enterprise technology, and writing the field guide once he got there.

He wrote one of the first books on SAP NetWeaver Portal for McGraw-Hill when ERP was the frontier. When the cloud era arrived, he wrote Enterprise AI in the Cloud for Wiley. When generative AI broke through, he wrote Building Generative AI Applications with LangChain and Python for Apress. Behind the books sits a career that spans the waves themselves, from one of the earliest Enterprise JavaBeans applications through two decades leading digital transformation, architecture, and AI programs inside global enterprises and at firms including Deloitte, across ERP, cloud, e-commerce, and digital platforms, from the C-suite to the build teams.

His new book begins a new series. The Commit Point is Volume One of the AEBOK Library, the publishing arm of the Autonomous Enterprise Body of Knowledge, a management standard for companies that delegate real decisions to AI systems. AEBOK addresses the question his whole career kept circling. When software acts, who answers?

Rabi is the founder of The Autonomous Enterprise Institute, writes The Autonomous Enterprise newsletter on LinkedIn, and hosts The Road to the Autonomous Enterprise, a daily show on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube.

Systems execute. Humans answer. He writes so that the second sentence stays true.
